Anyone know what this is from?

you need a new g12 container too.

why do you say that?
 

are you looking at the coolant revervoir and assuming it needs to be relaced due to a yellow color? If so, please note that many of the older B5's came with a yellow container. Mine was yellow from day one off the Audi lot when it was brand new in 96. In later years the pigment of the reservoir is clear.

Call it a good memory instead of brilliance. It's a common issue.
 

The new line will last lots longer, you will know if you got the newer version.

I had heard that in earlier years they used a lower quality plastic.
