Audi A4 B5 1.8t Quattro Front Power Window Issue.
Hey guys I've had to problem snapping me for awhile now and I can't seem to diagnose the issue. I've changed motors and regulators and the windows do work but both sides will cut out at the exact same time and will not work again unless the car is off for about an hour. There's no fuse for the windows and I believe it may be the CCM or a Relay. The back windows will still work completely fine when the front ones cut out. Its so strange if anybody has any information it'd be much appreciated.

You may be right. Or, could it be a broken wire in the door jamb? This is a common fault for the driver's door. Look carefully at the wire harness through the door hinge area.

I don't think its a broken wire as both sides front windows will cut out and stop working at the same time and start working again after the car is off for a little.
Do you know where the CCM is located? Or do you know if there's a relay for the front power windows? Can't find much on this issue at all.

Worth a look though. I believe the CCM is under the driver seat carpet. Search old posts here to find many threads on this. Also the C5 forum.
