Audi b5 1996
My fuel guage and temp guage are not working correctly, the temp guage shows that the engine have heat sometimes. and the fuel guage are showing less fuel then I have.

The temperature sensor on the back of the head does fail, it has separate sensors for the gauge and engine, so a bad gauge sensor may not effect operation. As far as fuel level I'd check the sensor in the tank.
