Default Automatic Transmission need help!

I have automatic transmission. Whenever the car changed gear at low speed, I felt a bump when changing gear.

any suggestions? the last time I changed the transmission fluid is last july 2013.

Default I have the same issue, 2002 s4, intermittent and slight

It does this more when its cold but shifting isn't quite right. There is a slight pause and then it kicks into gear, seems to be when I am coasting and it is trying to down or upshift. Did you ever figure this out?

Unfortunately you'll need a new (used/rebuilt) transmission, most likely.

based on what I read from another forum, they said that sometimes the problem is the multi-function switch. Is it possible? I read that when they put the gear on reverse it only rev and the solution for their problem is to replace the MFS

No, you could unplug the electrical connector from the trans and it would have 4th gear and reverse.

Yes its possible it is the MFS, I would rather you had the car scanned and read the codes, then take it from there.

A stab in the dark, which is cheap.

If you remove the MFS plug from the socket by the transmission, and see if it is corroded etc. clean it up and see if it improves things.
