Avant Garde Type S Kit fitment questions--is it good?
 

Hello all,

My brother is thinking about buying an Avant Garde Type S kit and I was curious if anyone could enlighten me with their installation stories of these kits.

Do they fit well? Is it a quality kit(fiberglass can be a PITA)? Any problems?

If it is legit AvantGarde it should kit fine. However, AFAIK they no longer have importer into US.

i have the fake, and the fit and finish of it is decent...
 

is your bro buying a real one? if so, there should be an "A!" trademark on the back along with some part numbers.

does the kit need to be repainted?

If real, let me know where he got it, lookin for some too.

Yes, it's the real deal. Thanks for the tip on the part numbers there.

It's brand new so it's still primered.
