Default bad central locking pump... if i have a bad pump..

will the doors still be able to lock? the auto lock feature still works on the car but locking it by remote or by hand doesn't do anything.

do i have a bad pump? what are some other ways to determine if i have a bad pump? i can faintly hear a pump sound from the back of the car.

Default so even with your bad pump, you were able to lock your doors?

how did they test to see if it the central locking pump was bad?

Default I could lock them one at a time. With my finger....

Otherwise mine was completely dead. When I hit the remote to lock the doors I got a loud whiring sound from the right rear and nothing else. Since your doors still lock after you get moving the pump should be fine.

Default If you have a bad pump, toss me the part number. I have one laying around...

could see if they match, & I'll sell it to you for less. ;-)

Its in the service manual, someone has a link to it its a big download but worth it
