Default Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!

<center><img src="http://www.rwnewmedia.com/a4/no_badges_2.jpg"></center><p>OK... Today I was inspired and took the plunge....

I actually saw a Blue A4, southbound on the GS Parkway about 11:30 this am. I think I ran into this guy once before in a greasy spoon diner in Midland Park. He has a Satorian Blue 1.8T with A6 2.7T rims, and a Yak-Rack. Debadged of course.
(Hey man... that was me chasing you in my Girlie's Black Jetta GT... :b)

Anyway.... I did it, I took the plunge, and feel somewhat free! I also gave the car the 6-hour Dali-Sphincter cleaning routine.

So check it out, and please re-affirm that I did the right thing with Meanie-Greenie...

Default Look's good, and I wasn't a huge fan of debadging!

Default Badges

Looks great. The location of the badges on the 99.5+ looks terrible IMHO. Nice job.

Default Definately looks better.

I did the same thing to mine last year and have always liked the look much better. The A4 is such a sweet looking car, why busy it up with all the letters and numbers.

How do you get them off without messing up the paint?

Default Re: How do you get them off without messing up the paint?

Chck out the FAQ on debadging.

Basically...
1. Clean first
2. heat with hairdryer
3. saw through adhesive with dental floss
4. Use "Goo-Gone" to remove remaining goo...
5. Clean with soap and water
6. Polish with clear coat polish
7. Wax and buff
8. Step back and admire...<p>----
