I find this on my wife's car. They aren't even six months old and I got them from Raxles.

Sucks because I found the pictured clamp in the street a couple months back. Didn't even think about it until today.

Did you tighten those clamps, or did they come crimped?

They came fully assembled. I lack to the tool to even use those clamps.

I thought R-axles was supposed to be "best" they are fairly expensive IMO.

Harbor freight and autozone have the special crimp pliers.

Glad I always changed the boots!

The AXLES are great. They don't make the clamps you know.

Hardly a setback to me and their business.

Not sure what to make of that comment!

Speaking as someone who works in manufacturing, I could never get away with blaming a failure on a component that I didn't manufacture but used in my product.

That's what QA is for!

And R-axles has a great rep, but the same problem on two axles.

I'll bet good money that you're not the only one.
