I saw these on Ebay for $99/set of two while looking for replacements of the old, crazed and yellowed originals. They're halogens and come with H1 bulbs installed, plus the Bemmer-style halo-rings that light up lavender if that's your thing. On my '96 some drilling and filing was required to install, later B5s don't, plus minor wiring. From Taiwan, quality looks better than what you might expect at the price. The lens are crystal clear, don't know how strong until something hits them. I'm not crazy about the low-beam light pattern, which has a sharp upper cutoff on the street surface, that moves up and down as the car's pitch changes. I'm also keeping the old Bosch units until I know the bulbs don't melt these things!
