The easiest repair would be to be 100% sure that your timing belt is broken (not something unrelated like the ignition switch died!) and try to repair what you have - you still haven't said what engine is in your car! If you pull off the cylinder head(s), you can assess if the pistons are damaged beyond use, chances are they are still OK. You will 100% need to have the cylinder heads redone and probably need to buy a few valves, or find a (some) good used head(s). Swapping engines is a big task on these cars, as the wiring for a 1.8L turbo is different from a non-turbo V6.

Take the engine apart and see what it needs.

+1 on the comments that you need to properly diagnose your illness before you can decide on a treatment.

Having said that, if your engine is indeed blown, rather than go to a all the trouble and expense of doing a non-native engine swap, I would take the opportunity to either put in a new or rebuilt 1.8T motor (forged pistons, connecting rods, etc) or else rebuild your original engine with high quality performance internals. I don't know which route would be easiest, quickest, cheapest, or otherwise most practical, but with a built engine you can make good power, and compared to the expense of doing a swap of some sort of non-native engine you'd have plenty of money left over for something like an APR stage III kit.
