boost leak?

hey you guys, i have a 2000 a4 1.8t and when i WOT...i only see 5-6psi max boost on my vdo boost gauge, and this feels a lot weaker than it was a few weeks ago...is it just that i'm getting used to the car? or what do you think could be a problem...thanks

you stock? 5-6 psi is about right

chipped should be 14.7ish.

I thought stock was 7-8 psi?

I thought 5psi was limp mode?

01 stock peaks at around 14ish psi then settles to around 12psi. 96-00 peaks near 10psi and settles to just over 7psi. And 1 bar peaks near 20psi and settles to around 15psi (at least my MTM 01 does). The way it was explained to me was, if you peak at 5psi you're in limp mode.

(note the numbers given, other than the 01 1 bar are rough estimates)
