boost leak test psi & common leak areas
I built a boost leak test kit for my 1.8T out of PVC pipe and a schrader tank valve fitting. What psi is good for leak checking? 10 psi? 15 psi? Where are the common leak areas?
I am logging an intermittent boost leak:
17964 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Deviation
P1556 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
The CE light never comes on, but something is not quite smooth sometimes w/ the throttle. Other than that the car runs great and seems to make gobs of power.
