Boost problems (update)
Well as you guys know since I installed Ed's boost gauge I have realised how my boost levels rise and drop.
In stock mode I am getting about 8 pis of boost CONSTANT thru the power band of 3 - 5 K RPM.
Thats normal ...
Now in chipped mode on full throttle the boost level spoikes up to 14 PSI and then almost instantly drops to 10 PSI, and continues to drop as the rpm levels go up.
I called APR and they thought the problem was a cracked hose. I had my mechanic check all of my hoses yesterday and everythign was irie
All was good no cracks no leaks.
Now, I called up AWE-tuning today and spoke to Mike (I think) and he is almost certain that the problem is my BPV is shot. Totally bleeding the boost. So he sent me out a bailey valve overnight for me to test. If it solves the problem great .. otherwise I just return it to them. No questions asked. He was awesome about it and I will have a review of the Bailey valve on Thursday or Friday night for you guys.

do you have a mod friendly dealer?if there are a few in your area, research and go to the one (more)
that talks highly of the A4's 'tuneability" etc.
My dealer here would blow me off in a second. Dealer I go to in KC is eager to hear about any mods I put on the thing and even recommend things to do next.
