Brake rotor ceased!! (not on my A4) any experience on getting a ceased rotor off??

Default Brake rotor ceased!! (not on my A4) any experience on getting a ceased rotor off??

I'm working on my 95 dodge avenger and i cant get a rotor off. Anyone have ideas or comments that will help.

Seized? Do you mean to the hub? BFH and an impact driver to get the phillips head off. VOILA!

take a 2x4 and BFH and hit the rotor from behind

Default Step one: Take a large hammer in hit it on the hat, directly between two lug bolt holes.

Do not hammer the pad surface.<ul><li><a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/ceased">Step two.</a></li></ul>

if all else fails. drill some holes in the rotor and use a gear puller and a bfh.

BFH ...I've had to do that to the rears on my A4 and the fronts of the Durango.
