brake sqeal when reversing?
does anyone else have this problem? when reversing my rear brakes moan/groan. It's more pronounced when applying the brakes, but also occurs if I'm just backing up.
I informed the dealer about this problem, but they said that it was normal with the A4 and the problem is not unique to mine. is this true or is it BS? and does anyone have a solution to this problem!

that's normal...
happens to my S4 too (more when it was new)... has something to do with the direction of "grain" of the brake pads(or rotors?) and when you slap it on reverse it creates a resonant "groan" or squeal sound because the brakes are all of a sudden going against the "grain". If your car is new, you'll notice it often. As the brake pads and rotors wear a bit, it happens less if at all.
