Default Calling all 97 owners with switchblade remotes...post your part # / FCC ID here

The info in the archives isn't very good, and I want to hear from people who have done it and works for them.

Thanks!

Default I did and thats where part of the confusion comes in ->

One of your posts says "No. FCC ID must match."

Well, the only one that matches the FCC ID is the non switchblade one. The switchblade ones have a SLIGHTLY different FCC ID.

Non-switchblade FCC ID (the one I have now)
MZ2 410 819 4

Example of a switchblade FCC ID...

MZ2 410 819 6 3
MZ2 410 819 6 4

All that matters is the MZ2 410 819 part.

Default Uhhh, you sure? I did a fake order and my total was ~$125.

4D0-837-246-B-INB + VIN number for the switchblade key

4D0-837-231-T-01C for the remote fob.

$55.56 + $67.71 = $123.27 for the order subtotal.
