Hey guys! Been a while since I’ve posted. My B5 Avant is still going strong with a mere 260k on the original clutch...what a car!

I replaced the cam chain tensioner in 2009 at around 127k, and the “rattle” is back, so I guess it’s about that time again...

What’s the consensus on changing the chain itself? Has anyone here done it? I’m wondering if there is enough clearance between the exhaust cam and the head to remove/replace the chain WITHOUT removing the exhaust cam because I don’t want to slip the timing belt or service it at this time.
