Can an ECU be reprogrammed with a standard VAGcom cable?
The ECU on my 1998 A4 (2.8 quattro 5 speed) is shot, and not sending signals to my fuel pump/injectors. I see used ECU are really cheap <$100, but how much does programming them cost? Is it possible to use my VAGcom cable to program the ECU to my car?
