Basical.y, I believe the instrument cluster coding is 5 digit.
1. First two digits are coding to allow you to enable seat belt warning and navigation
2. Third digit indicates which country
3. Fourth digit indicates # of cylinders (you need to change this from 6 to 4)
4. Last digit indicates type of engine (I think you need to keep this as 4)
The forth digit is what is used to calibrate the tachometer.

BTW: You might want to read about immobilizer. (I didn't need to worry about it because U.S. cars don't have immobilizers). You will need to recode the immobilizer, if your car includes one in the instrument cluster...The procedure depends on wheter you have immobilizer1 or 2
