Default car randomly stalls. recently replaced engine speed sensor.

So my car stalls randomly while in gear, it can be any gear. but it automatically restarts because it is in gear, only after i put the clutch in will it completely die.

After it stalls I have to crank it several times before it starts, and after it starts I have an EPC light. when the EPC light is on, it doesn't stall though.

originally i was throwing these codes:
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
P0411 - 35-00 - -
16706 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): No Signal
P0322 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

So then I replaced my engine speed sensor (note I did not clear the codes). and after that I still have the same occurence.

I just checked the codes again and this is what popped up:
16706 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): No Signal
P0322 - 35-00 - -
16395 - Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake): Retard Setpoint not Reached (Over-Advanced)
P0011 - 35-00 - -
16795 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
P0411 - 35-00 - -

I'm thinking the secondary air code is because I have been cranking it a lot so it is extra rich on startup? Do you think the engine speed sensor wire is fuxored? Where do I get another one of those? should i get a new camshaft position sensor too?

this is the sensor i replaced:

Default the SAI problem can be ignored for now.

something with the wiring of the speed sensor is fubar'd. did you replace the clutch recently?

I'd double check the wiring, especially the connector on the car side. as for replacing it, the fix is to splice in new wires with a new connector...

Default That is you vehicle speed sensor. You need the engine speed sensor...

aka crankshaft position sensor. Here is a link to one. $48 plus shipping. When you replace it if there is a spacer between the sensor and the trans housing then make sure you swap the spacer onto the new sensor.

http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com/shoppingcart/index.cfm?action=viewCart&siteid=214407</a

Default sometimes wiring gets pinched between the block and the bell housing.

but, the advice above seems like it might work.
