and nothing would happen. No codes. I let it cool down a while and everything seemed fine again. I have noticed that on extremely hot days the car would randomly stall out on me (happened to me once in FL 2 months back and several times here in NC only on extremely hot days). I thought the problem was MAF related but I had that replaced. The new MAF did clear up my rough idle and misfiring problem and the CEL. My thoughts are that excess pressure builds in the tank on hot days and either the fuel pump, FPR or the fuel filter are clogged. Any thoughts or similar experiences? TIA. Also, when filling up the tank, the pump would "click" early when filling.
