Default car won't start wtf !

1997 audi a4 2.8..........so i had the car parked for 4 days waiting on a coolant temperature sensor to come in. it came in i replaced the sensor and the car would not start unless i kept pumping gas in and after a good thirty seconds. then once started it would blow a quick cloud of white smoke then idle at 1100 rpm and sputter and die when i go to take off. i then thought it was the sensor so i unplugged it and nothing has changed. its been two days now. the coolant and oil look fine and i hear the fuel pump turn on...also i double checked all my hoses and everything is connected.....

Sounds like you may have broken, or dislodged a crank vent pipe, or the boot that goes to the throttle body, or something back there. It sounds like a big intake leak.
