cd changer

i have a 97 audi a4 with the bose system the guy where i bought my car from said the rear speakers and the cd changer were stolen the car still has the amp head unit and all front speakers it has the wire for the cd changer does anyone know what cd changer fit the wire? do i have to get a stock one? where? and cost? thank you

I think the 97 has an 8 pin connector and I believe the panasonic will work the best...

Wait for someone with a 97 to confirm this though...

8 pin = alpine

no replacement

100% proprietary blaupunkt Delta CC head unit & alpine cd changer with special com coding that only those 2 units undersand.

part = obsolete

thus no longer available from audi

and there are no substiutable changers.

if you want a cd changer

you need to buy a used one on ebay

or

buy a new head unit & cd changer that works with it.

there are no more new or reman units available from audi for the Delta CC head unit... all gone bye bye now... its obsolete and audi doesnt carry it anymore.
