CEL CODES

I've just gotten a CEL today. P1136 according to the OBD II Sensor. I cleared the code and it has not returned as of the 10 minute ride home.

The autozone told me the code was for a fan circuit sensor.

The Bentley website says: Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Lean

(WTF?? How do I add fuel to bank 1? New fuel filter, new fuel, new injectors,I don't know??)

Car is a 2000 A4 1.8 QTM. 62k miles. SoCal...

Anybody have any ideas?? Please advise...

i had a system too lean code once... turns out it was ....

that my vacuum line coming from the DV to the headers dryrotted and SNAPPED!!... so check that..

I think they can pull them with a generic obd reader

they just can't do advanced funtions.

Thanks for the info... That's what it was. I figured as much as I had discovered it a while ago and just cut the end and reattached the hose. It snapped again this time and had no slack. Luckily I had already purchased the hose so I replaced it. What a PITA!!!

Oddly though, I've noticed that my fans aren't coming on like they used to. Everytime I turned on the A/C they'd start right up. Lately I can'tmake them come on. Any Ideas??
