2001 A4 Avant - Central Locking system works from both Key Fob and manually, except that the alarm will go off for no apparent reason. Thought it was key fob because that had been acting up, so took batteries out and work it manually for a few weeks. Alarm is now going off when locked manually for no apparent reason. When I lock it I get the flashing light indicating the alarm is activited, but after a period the alarm will activate without cause.

Vacuum leak?? sensor?? looking for some help.
