This is a discreet post about swapping ECUs and check engine lights. I swapped ECUs and later that day, the car's check engine light came on.<p>It seems to drive just fine (milage is about 26mph even under agro driving). <p>Any ideas or solutions are apppreciated<p>Thanks<br>

Swap chips back &amp; see if it goes out

If you swapped the actual ECU (Motronic) not just the chip. The motronic you installed may have had an<br>error code in it before you started it- they will not erase w/o a scan tool . Else contact your Chip maker if it was just the chip swap.<p>Or it might have been coded incorrectly.<p>good luck.<br>Email me if you have questions.<p>
