chips

does anyone have any dynos of differnt 1.8t chips that kinda compare them.. man i have a neuspeed and i wonder if i made the right choice I want the best but all i get is opinons I want cold hard facts

you want cold hard facts? Than you need to dyno different chips in the same ECU, the same car,

the same day, the same dyno, the same temps, the same tank of gas, no variables of any kind (other than the different chips, etc).

Other than that the results will be skewed.

hahah yeah i guess your right but I mean who has that kind of money, hasnt one of our friendly euro mags thought of something like this, I mean they got the loot and why wouldnt the manufactors go along, then they could promote the best product then.... so annoying

Because there will only be one winner, and plenty of losers. As a result, odds are they have nothing to gain, unless they are putting out a superchip that will kill your turbo and/or engine in 10K miles. People never seem to consider that when reading these rags.

Something like that will never happen, as RKA suggested.

The tuners wouldn't go along with it, not in a million years.

And besides, dyno numbers don't mean everything...it's not just about peak HP numbers, IMHO.
