Not sure if this has been posted or not.. but I have this weird issue.. I wouldn't say it's a problem because I have taken care of the codes and my car runs fine.. But I decided I would throw an OBDII reader on my car just for the hell of it.. I found a p1392 code and some misfire codes.. But I never had a CEL on my cluster.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Does the check engine light work. Might just be a pending intermittent code.

Camshaft position sensor bank 2 drivers side code, could be sensor, leaking oil on sensor or cam tensioner is starting to fail.

Thank you for your response, I do not know if the CEL works. I bought this car a year ago and the previous owner did not mention it. I have not seen the CEL come on at all since I've owned it. As for the p1392 code, Im aware of the causes and I am about to tackle it.

Should come on when you turn on the ignition.
