Default Mount the GPS in the cup holder...FWIW

That way you can remove it:
1) removes the theft temptation
2) can use it elsewhere
3) but it can't be "hardwired.
I just plug mine into the DC supply with a short wire.

Is that an XM radio and is it in the cupholder?
I have a Garmin GPS II Plus.
Your setup looks sweet.

Default One other thing...

The antenna can be removed and a piece of inexpensive coax used to connect it. There is no need to buy the special remote except for looks..
So where is the cup holder anyway????
