Computer question
How do I make a copy of the Registry prior to making changes to it? I think there is a way to make a copy of it say on the Desktop and if the changes are not correct the Registry can be restore by using that copy. What are the steps to do that?

in regedit (start->run regedit)...
select my computer if you want your entire registry backed up, go to file->export, type in a file name, and click save..
it may take a while to export it, and probably even longer to import it (~60mb is the size of my registry)
If you know what you're editing, you can export just that tree by left click on it and clicking export, etc.
