Are there immobilizers on the '00 and older cars?
I think I was able to program my keys just by following one of the Tech Tips. It involves having one key in ignition and using the key-to-program to lock/unlock doors.

help! I need to buy a new remote key for an a4 1998. This key has switchblade, with only 2 buttons...lock and unlock( no Trunk). Where can I find one( other than dealer)

help! I need a USED remote key for 1998 A4. This is a 2 button switchblade key with lock and unlock( no trunk) Can anyone advise where to get one, other than the dealer. E-bay only shows 3 button keys.
