I am looking at buying a used or, if necessary, a new A4 (1.8TQMSX).

1. Do the 99.5s have optional Xenons?
2. Do the chips made for the drive-by-wire engines (99.5 and on) increase output as the previous engine's chips did (~185-195 hp)?
3. For the 2000 model in Europe, they changed the rear suspension design, did they change the north american versions? when, 99.5 or 00?
4. If you order a car with cloth seats, are they necessarily the sport seats then, or are there non-sport cloth seats avaliable?
5. Does anyone out there have a car without a sunroof? How long did you have to wait?
6. Any dealer/salesman recomendations in the Bay Area?

2000 was first year for drive by wire, not 99.5
