Cutting A New Key

Is the dealer the only one that can cut a new key? I bought the parts for 1/3 of the quote from the local Audi Dealer (Butts Audi in Seaside CA) -- bought the remote and blank from ebay for $50. Where can I get it cut?

Just call locksmith around, some should be able to cut it. I got it cut in Chinatown, LA

The dealer can cut it for like 10-15 dollars...

Dealer in MA cut mine for free. You might as well give 'em a shot, they did mine in 10 minutes.
