damn it....I lost my idle this morning...
the car was fine last night...and now I got no idle...unplug the MAF and I'm fine. I'm looking for leaks but can't find any.

Stop letting those jersey freaks mess with your car at the GTG!
|
haha...must be all the test runs last night! =)
learn to say NO...i've been doing it. I do one run per meet. nothing else. If it's in edgewater...no ride.
that was insane right? 3 cops within .5 mile. |
get some freaking software to run that bitch.
|
nothing to do with the idle.
|
I'm thinking it might be the MAF....
how do you clean it again?
|
Rick James was your idle ?
|
hah! i thought i was bad...
|
sounds like a MAF issue
since it's fine sans MAF. I had bad WOT when I had MAF connectivity issues.
|
how to...
1. Make sure your MAF plug is oriented vertically...having the MAF installed at funky angles has been shown to lower the life of it. It maybe that the board and wires cant support it's own weight, let alone vertical accelerations. Or it could be a touchy connection. Did you get codes?
2. To clean. remove maf assembly throw the whole thing in a zip lock bag. pour in rubbing alcohol. close bag. Slosh back and forth for a few minutes. Remove from bag. Let Air dry. Reinstall. |
