Default dealer swapped water pump and thermostat, now electric fan doesn't work...help?

Anyone had this happen?

The secondary electric fan no longer comes on with the a/c compressor.

Did he just forget to hook something back up? Does anyone have pics of the wiring and thermal switch for that fan? I can't find s**t in the Bentley CD. If no pics, a general description and location would be helpful...

thanks,
steve

Default doesn't that depend on what lead you tap it into?

if it's the thermostat lead after the thermostat, it would depend on temperature, but if you threw it onto a constant power lead (once car is cranked up) it would always be on.

Default Did you turn the interior fan all the way up when the AC was on?

IIRC had to do that on WYSIWYG's car to activate it with the AC.

Default I did, I'll sit with it like that for a while longer...supposed to get up to 72 today

I tried for quite a while, BUT i was under the assumption that it came on immediately with the a/c.

Default is this on the radiator body?

Or in the hose itself? Or close to the water pump?

I saw a three wire plug in the radiator just above (inch or so above) where the lower hose comes out...it was plugged in correctly.

thanks,
steve
