Default Detailing Question?

How do you dry your car without leaving water spots? I have tried everything, and those damn spots won't go away!

First, always keep the car out of the sun when washing or drying, and make sure the paint is cool.

Second, your final rinse should be without a nozzle on the hose, and make sure there are no suds.

Third, make sure you don't have 'hard' water, and if you do rinse constantly while washing.

Fourth, I always dry my cars in sections, starting with the roof, hood and trunk lid. I start with a synthetic chamois (already wet) - it leaves a small bit of water behind. I quickly follow the chamois, by lightly rubbing with a 100% cotton, white towel.

I never have water spots.

Default i do almost the same....

i use the california water blade or something like that, its basically just a strip of silicone. works really well. after that i use a cotton towel like Jwest to make sure it is 100% dry.
