Diagnotisic code query
The next thing to do is to replace the restrictor. This is best left to a mechanic, as it requires evacuating your system, opening it, and finding/removing the restrictor, which is just a glorified coffee filter, fitted into an AC tube. This may fix the problem. At this point, your system must be flashed (with Nitrogen) and refilled with refrigerant. If this doesn't fix your problem, it's the compressor, which you can get for around $200 from discountac.com. Replacing your compressor will require all the previous work (except the high side pressure switch replacement), and it is recommended that you also replace the $20 part (I think it's the condenser, but I can't remember off the top of my head) that keeps the refrigerant relatively clean.
That's an AC service in a nutshell. It's not cheap (I think for my car, the refrigerant cost was going to be about $250).
Good luck. This is a job best left to someone with a thorough knowledge of your AC system.
This switch, referenced in post 1, I just bought this HERE
But after thinking about it, that is probably not the switch in question is it?
If so great, if not, a link to what I supposedly need would be much appreciated. Starting the timing belt job Friday after work so I will be able to access what I need to anyway.
Thanks!
