For the 99 a4 driver airbag fix.

You can't go to the dealer anyway. Its not a spare part.

I thought i needed the clockspring because the airbag light and the 00588 code.
The horn on the car didn't work aswell as the the 2 + and - buttons (which I don't even know what they do) so i guessed the connection between the wheel and the column.
I messed with it for a while and got the horn to work then tested continuity from the plug where the airbag plugs in down to the small plug in the driver kick panel and got continuity on both wires.

Could the airbag itself be bad?
Or the plug or could it still be the clockspring?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Rod
