Drop in power in chipped 1.8T, feels somewhere between stock and chipped (more)
I just got it back from the dealer. They spent 2 days fixing the coolant (therm, seals and pump)and vaccum pump, also they did the 24k service. Before I took it in for service i noticed a slight whistling sound coming from the engine when hard on the throttle @3k rpm. But it still pulled quite well - though I was suspecting a slight loss of power.
Now it does not pull well at all. I am suspecting that the BPV may be faulty but I have no way to verify this. I do not have a boost guage.
Is it possible for the dealer to somehow flash the chip ?(it is an APR chip and they say it cant be so I dont suspect this) or
A leak somewhere, possible BPV, in the piping or what not. Are there other ways to find out if there is a leak?
I was thinking of getting the porsche 993 BPV. It is cheap compared to most after market products.

You have a boost leak.
spots to check:
BPV
intercooler endtanks (they are clipped on!!!)
Hoses on the pressure side (after turbo). You HAVE to actually take them off and closely inspect them.
