In a nutshell, Fourier transform lets you take a physical process and convert it back and forth betweent the time and frequency domain. h(t) and H(f) respectively. bleh!
And Laplace transform is a tool to solve difficult differential equations into simple algebra problems. it used if for initial value problems and such. double bleh! email me if you want more detail. lots of resources on the web too. |
