Electrical problem(s)?
I live in Germany & drive a '97 euro-spec 1.8 Quattro A4 Avant. I love this car, and for a older used car with high mileage, it performs incredibly well. There a just a few problems I have. One is the LED displays on the climate control unit randomly flash from bright to dim. The heat still works, but the flashing is distracting. Is this a common problem and is there an easy fix? I have a feeling if I take it in for service they will want to just replace the whole head unit.
