Default Engine dies while driving

First off, I have a 1999.5 A4 1.8TQ

Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem can be? I was thinking it might be the batt but I had it tested at Kragen and they said the batt and alternator are testing fine. I notice that the voltmeter runs lower than normal though, just under the 14V mark and even around 12.5V sometimes (hot day, AC on, radio on). Is that normal?

My next guess is the spark plugs. I have a 99.5 and haven't ever changed the spark plugs myself. So the last time they were changed was at a service interval (50K or less) and I have 83k now.

I VAG'd the car and these are the only codes that came up:

Don't pay any attn to the Catalytic converter one ;-)

Any ideas as to what can be the problem?

wouldn't the VAG pick it up and tell me which one is going bad?

when mine did the it was the MAF

Haven't checked the ECU, but can't see how it could get loose. I'll check it when it stops raining up here.

The batt was changed once about 3.5 years ago. I never drained this one completely so I don't think it should go bad yet.

It might be the MAF, but how can I check that to see if it's bad or not?

Also, what the heck is Terminal 30? I'm sure that would explain something...

Default hmm, I was also told that maybe it was because I disconnected the batt.

But I know I haven't so I don't know what the heck is up. I guess I'll try to disconnect the ECU and reconnect it and the same for the batt terminals, even though they 're visibly on there really good. I guess at the same time I can check that little circle and see if it's still green or whatever.

I'm glad it isn't the MAF because that's $$
