engine head

where can i get an engine head from for a 98' 1.8t

Your best bet....try local junk yards....tell them u got a passat...(m)

DO not tell them u got an audi...that ='s them charging u more $$$$$
Tell them u got a 98 passat 1.8t w/t engine code AEB.
They should charge u about $200.00
Also, it would be nice to find them yards that
U pulled yourself(bring your own tools) them places have the best prices.

I don't know about engine head, but you can get driving head from your local

hooker.

Thats a good story

Just for a good core is about $1000. No way your going to pull a used head off a car for $200, since most of the parts on the head are worth more then that.

Just incase you dont believe me, here is some listings from www.car-parts.com for the passat AEB head. They even show a "BAD CORE" for $400.
