Engine light keeps comin on. .....?????

I keep cleaning the gas cap .. and it goes away and then comes on again..

Gas cap replace???

Always check the codes. It might have nothing to do with the gas cap.

vag the car

mine just came on yesterday. incorrect air flow secondary air injection system and incorrect voltage to terminal 30 i believe. that and the short to B+ on the interior lights, leak detected on central locking pump, and some other odds and ends that audi supposedly fixed when the car was in the shop for 5 straight days just a few weeks back.

check engine light is responsible for codes relating to hundreds of faults. vag the car.
