Default Exhaust - which one should I get?

Does anyone know if it is possible to have my 2000 a4 1.8T sounding SIMILAR to a infiniti g35 or 2007 BMW 335i - I'm looking for a deep tone and not a higher mid flat tone which is pretty common. Those cars can drive normal and not really be hear, but when they push it they sound pretty aggressive.

I don't have anything done to my car yet - but would like to add a chip, intake, exhaust, and suspension... g35 and 335i aren't that powerful yet produce that type of sound. Can I?

Thanks -

Default Milltek......I'm probably going to get a Milltek for that deep, raspy but never loud tone

Kinda like my lovemaking.

Here's a sound clip from Stratmosphere of the interior of an A4 although I don't know if it's from a 2.8 or a 1.8t but you can hear the classic Milltek sound. I've heard good things about Jetex as well having a similiar tone but I haven't been able to verify that. The Jetex is several hundred dollars cheaper so it's worth looking into.

Good luck

http://www.stratmosphere.com/a4tqm_gen1_mpeg_56_24000.wav</a

Default Dont touch the intake. Those two cars are 6 cylinders. (so they typically will sound deeper)

And saying those cars arent that powerful is somewhat inaccurate as they both yield 300 lag free horsepower.

Default I love my Milltek and 2.5" TT downpipe, not loud but a deep sound for sure...

much nicer than the Stebro I had on my '91 90q-20v (way too loud), or B&B Triflow on my '88 90q (resonated way too much), or the custom on my '87 4kq (wasn't stainless and rusted out in 2 years - Chicago winters for you)

Default exactly, our 1.8T's will never sound like those no matter what exhaust you get. It's like trying to

make a Civic sound like a M3.

Default

you're not going to get that sound out of a 4cyl, imo.

Default touche, (perhaps a little harsh of comparison!) G35 and 335 are quite similar to an M3, I hope you

are not comparing our cars (1.8ts) to civics! which the analogy somewhat implied, but I know better! Either way just not gonna happen!

Hey - thanks for the sound bite - that's it! I hope that's a 1.8. I appreciate it.
