I posted in late July about my A4 getting totaled in an accident (see my pic poster). My insurance State Farm covered me very well and gave me more than I could have imagined for the car, which paid off the loan with money left over for a new (used) car.

I was debating getting another Audi or something else, and chose not to get an Audi now since i would only be able to afford a high mileage one (can't afford upkeep w/o a good extended warranty!) Instead, I'll get a NEW Audi later in life when I'm rich!

Anyway, in the mean time, I've bought a 1990 Eagle Talon TSi (Turbocharged and AWD). Its the same car as the Eclipse GSX. No, its not nearly as nice as my Audi =.( but it takes the cake when it comes to cheap power. I can have this thing running 12's for under $2k (I don't drag...but just stating that for reference). Yesterday I put JIC FLT-A2 coilovers and a rear sway on it that are custom tuned by John Mueller at Road Race Engineering. I've also put a set of Lancer EVO Enkei 17x8 wheels on it since the pics. I can't wait to get another Audi, but this car will kick **** in the mean time. I'll be autocrossing it regularly and tracking it when I can.

I rarely come around AW anymore, but I will make it to SCC Audi monthly breakfasts for those of you in the SoCal Audi Club. Thanks again to EVERYONE here for all the help and shared knowledge! I learned a TON about cars during my Audi ownership b/c of the people here. JG18T, I'll be seeing you around at the breakfasts. I'll also take my Talon on club drives...as long as no one gives me attitude for bringing my RICE!
