first mod?
Just got a 96 a4....not too familiar with the car....what would be the best first mod to do to get more power....and I noticed that the alarm is just a horm...can I change that to a siren of somekind?

Actually... because of the lack of interest...
I just cancelled it. I believe that with the X-Mas season just around the corner people were more willing to spend gifts on their loved ones vs their love (Audi/VW 2.8L 30v). Can't say that I blame anyone... I'm sure the girlfriend or wife will appreciate a nice gift, so that they will approve when you decide on purchasing the G2 Supercharger.

Point well taken...but it doesn't squelch my desire for a future SC!
I don't know if you (PES) have a standing list of potential GB'ers but if you could add me to your 'spring clearance' list I'd appreciate it :-) Does your 2.8 kit also work with the Passat setup?

Spring Clearance on a G2 Supercharger?
I do not believe that it is a system that will go on clearance vs a part that becomes outdated such as a car audio amplifier. The G2 Supercharger works on all 2.8L 30v engines... This includes:
Audi A4 98-2001
Audi A6 98-2001
VW Passat 98-Present
And other VAG vehicles utilizing the 2.8 30v engine.

Look into suspension...
Dont listen to these other punks who will try to tell you the car sucks. Theyre just jealous because they dont have leather seats. 
Look into upgrading the suspension first. The 96 didnt come with sport suspension so a nice spring/shock combo will make a big difference.
If your looking for more power, try TDLRacing.com. They make an exhaust setup, ported intake manifold, ported throttle body and a ported exhaust manifold, relatively cheap.
