Ignition switch is bad.

Same deal happened to me.

Easy DIY. Should be info in the FAQ and archives. Let me know if you need any help though.

how do you get the key out if it wont go all the way back into full off position ?

I don't remember at which part it came out exactly.

I don't think I tried to take it out till I unconnected the igntion switch. Had no problem coming out.
