FIX??? P1117 O2 Sensor Heater Circ.,Bank1-Sensor2 Short to Ground
 

Hi!

My check engine light has been on for just over a week now. The error code is P1117.

A shop said that I need to replace a thermostat that measures the coolant temp (I didn't do it - charging $800!!!). They reset the light but it came back after 2-3 days. I reset it again and it's been off for about 80k.

My online researching tells me that the code means 'O2 Sensor Heater Circ.,Bank1-Sensor2 Short to Ground' ---- an electrical issue? Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? Changing a fuse?

This is the only code that comes up and the only other posts I found related to P1117 were people who were getting it in addition to many others.
