Fob drains batteries fast! How to get print out to clean?
I got 2 original keys with my b5.5 and one had empty batteries.
So i got the 2 cr1620's for 3 euro a piece. Too bad its not the cr2032 since they are a euro for 5...
I put them in, stuck the key in the door. turned it both ways and my remote worked again.
Take it to open the car the next day. Nothing.. I tried everything to resync. Nothing.
Measure the voltage on the batteries. And they are almost dead.
New batteries and it works again. And dead again in a day.
I read eveywhere that it happens more.. could be dirty, or washed, or the buttons could be pushing in all the time.
Well the buttos never do anything unless I push them. Not in my pants or whenever.
So I thought of cleaning it. But I cant find anywhere how to get the little print out of the cover so I can clean the other side.
Turning the little gold studs wich holds it wont do anything. Do I just pull them out?
Dont want to demolish the thing by trying.
Thanks
